| Parody Song Title: | "Small Sacrifice" |
| Parody Written by: | Edward Genereux |
The day after Christmas 2007, Twila Paris released her latest album. Called "Small Sacrifice," it was her first full pop-based CCM album since 1999's "True North." Sounds good--until you find out that she released it exclusively to LifeWay Christian Stores, which are found in only 24 states. This frustrates fans in the other 26, including me. The prevailing theory is that she struggled to get a major record label and had no choice. It is a travesty that Minnesotans like me can't get the much-anticipated CD and will have to order through the mail, which takes a LONG time!
Stanza.
This ain't very nice!
I can't find "Small Sacrifice" in stores!
She really threw the dice;
I cannot pay the price at all...
Refrain.
To get it shipped here.
Ain't got a credit card;
If I truly did,
It wouldn't be so hard!
I then could just buy
Albums on her site,
But somehow I know that
This just isn't right!
(Repeat both)
Tag.
This ain't nice--you know that this ain't
Quite, quite, that, that, nice--not nice to me!
Ah! ah! ah! this ain't very nice!
This ain't very nice!
This ain't very nice--not so nice!
This ain't very nice--yes, I know!
(Repeat last two lines thrice)

If you DO have a credit card, you could buy it by way of Twila's official site.
