You can always spot
the first initial symptoms
head hurts awful
feel screwed
have a fever

the pains
your stomach aching
all you can eat
is clear soup
and it seems tasteless
then snot runs down
just like water

like a hose
from my nose
it is driving
driving me bonkers
this damned flu
all the aching
head pounding
it's screwed

Now I'm sneezing out
phlegm from my honker
my ass it
still is dragging
I can't breathe
