Parody Song Title:

"Lee Marvin"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

lee marvin sure gives 'em hell when he fights
this fellow's quite the slugger
takes out a guy with the ol' left-right
you mess with him, you suffer

all your life
you've never seen a he-man
like our famous friend
till that dame said he promised her heaven
millions, did she win

he moves like a cat in the dark
he's sinister and heartless
he lived his life with a certain spark
acquiring a street-smartness

all your life
you've never seen a he-man
like our famous friend
till that dame said he promised her heaven
millions, did she win
millions, did she win

lee marvin
lee marvin
lee marvin
lee marvin

he's some guy...loved to start a fight
he's some guy...loved to start a fight

I liked Lee Marvin...except for the time he picked on Jimmy Stewart in, "Who Shot Liberty Valance?".... Guess he went the way of so many tough guys..the wrath of a woman..5's

Lee Marvin was wonderful in "Cat Ballou" as the gunfighter who was the greatest shot in the West for about 30 seconds after a drink of whiskey - then he would suddenly turn into a totally blotto drunk and pass out!

I love Lee Marvin, Alvin, and his best work was his early film noir stuff (altho his cameo in Cat Ballou was great)...check out "Big Heat" (real hard thug) and a neo-noir classic from the 60s "Point Break" - 555

I almost made Lee Marvin the guy who "just made you want to puke" in my Western-movie tribute "Talkin' Westerns (Gary, Randy & the Duke)." I'm glad I didn't, because this is better than that would've been. (Lee Van Cleef got the dishonor in my song.)

working on a "Rhiannon" parody now, took a look to make sure no one had done it. Nice job with Lee Marvin here, alvin. 5's ~ ~ ~

I just had to read/sing this one! The OS has been running in my mind for two weeks. This OS sort of fits Lee Marvin's character, if the tune is played in a country western beat. I may not have heard much about Lee Marvin, but from what I've researched, he was famous for playing either villains or other acerbic, ruthless characters. I've also heard "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance." I think I saw the movie with my father on TV a long time ago. Great tribute to a classic icon, though! 5's all the way!
