The Lyrics

Resubmitting with the correct title (curse you autoFilter!)
Here's my story
Living a dairy tale romance
Farmer's daughter
Dad said I'd better behave

Yak, yak, yak
Went in one ear, out the udder
I had to have her
Even with so much at steak

But sweat poured down my brow
When he caught us behind the plow
I said don't have a cow
It's Bovine Love

Moo, Moo, Moo
You know her loins were so tender
It might not last, but,
I'll milk it for all that it's worth
Churning, churning, churning
I'll butter her up, see?
I might spread my love too thin
But she don't mind

How did I catch her attention?
Must be bovine intervention
And she's got this bull's affection
It's Bovine Love

She's into culture
Listens to classical moo-sic
When we go dining
We double date with the Holsteins
She don't leave change
She's not into cow-tipping
She loves children
And I think her calves are divine

When we're in the sack together
She'll be kinky if I let her
You know she's into leather
That's bovine love
It's bovine love
Ah, ah, bovine love

I got a hunk, a hunk of bovine love
Just a slice, a chunk of bovine love
Just some cold, pasteurized bovine love
Just some buffalo and bovine love
Just a hamburger and bovine love
Just a cheesesteak and some bovine love

Rick Santorum might be cowed by this parody, but I got no beef with it. I'd better not, being the author of "It Doesn't Matter, She's a Horse." But the all-time champ of farm freaky-sneaky songs is John Barry with "Goat Writin' In the Sty."

moo-sic, out the udder - I didn't even need to read the Authorline to know who this was by, Jeff - you must have a had a bull, er ball, writing this - 555

What's a ton 'o puns worth? 555, of course. The second verse was the best.
bobpiecheese - September 15, 2006 - Report this comment
(Decathlon - Event 3) There so many small puns in there, it's like it was a Spaff parody. And that's as good as you get without making references outside of the site (by which I mean the man who's first name starts with an A, ends with an L, and doesn't have many letters in between). Well sone, Jeff!

(SOTM) see above, and above - literally TMGPTM (too many great puns to mention) - I lost count, but the sheer quantity was funny in itself, and I loved the line "We double date with the Holsteins" - hilariously silly stuff Jeff - 555

(SOTM) Wow, what a contest this is turning out to be! You milked this topic for all it was worth. And, see above.
Michael McVey - October 25, 2006 - Report this comment
This beefy selection doesn't belong here, it belongs on badpun.com! You milked out more cow puns than "Cows With Guns!" You should be roasted at the steak! --MM
Phil Alexander - October 27, 2006 - Report this comment
Punditry at its best... as Michael McV said, there's a definite "Cows with Guns" feel to this (and that's a compliment). Howsabout "In the mooed" as a sequel?

(SOTM) I am going to resist the urge to respond in puns... I am going to resist the urge to respond in puns... I am going to.... arghh!!! This was a tongue-in-cheek filet to be tied!!! Very Amoooooozing!!
wannabemustangjockey - October 29, 2006 - Report this comment
(SOTM) Tragically, I have no cow puns to describe this song. Actually, it's a kind of hard to describe it at all ... it's that good.
bobpiecheese - October 30, 2006 - Report this comment
(SOTM) See above! (That's the bonus of entering a song in more than one contest: the other participants don't have to come up with two witty comments - they say one and then "see above")
Kristof Robertson - October 31, 2006 - Report this comment
(SOTM) See above. I'm still enamooed with this...(sorry) ;-)
