Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Crocs dismember both old and young,
If you're snoozie he may take a thumb.
Maiming hands and breaking bones,
He's a cold bold heavy, but he must have been stoned.
And the biggest boos he ever got,
Was when he picked up his wee tot,
While the crowd stood there in shock,
His kid hopping and bopping doin' crocodile walk.

That crocodile walking,
When those jaws get locking,
Keep those feet from goin' chill,
As he tries to snap at your behind.
Recording drama, for prime time nights,
The danger that the crock might bite,
And that crocodile walking was-a none too bright.

La la-la-la-la la,
la-la-la-la la,
la-la-la-la-la la.

But the cheers went dry and the crowd they sighed,
When old Steve was actin' like that Michael guy.
Small bites taken by that crocodile green,
Thinkin' that he's savvy with that croc's cuisine.
But they should have killed the scenes they shot,
With that kid doing crocodile walk.
Should have stashed that old broadcast,
He really thought that crocodile walk was class.

That crocodile walking,
When those jaws get locking,
Keep those feet from goin' chill,
As he tries to snap at your behind.
Recording drama, for prime time nights,
The danger that the crock might bite,
And that crocodile walking was-a none too bright.

La la-la-la-la la,
la-la-la-la la,
la-la-la-la-la la.

Crocs dismember both old and young,
If you're snoozie he may take a thumb.
Maiming hands and breaking bones,
He's a cold bold heavy, but he must have been stoned.
And the biggest boos he ever got,
Was when he picked up his wee tot,
While the crowd stood there in shock,
His kid hopping and bopping doin' crocodile walk.

That crocodile walking,
When those jaws get locking,
Keep those feet from goin' chill,
As he tries to snap at your behind.
Recording drama, for prime time nights,
The danger that the crock might bite,
And that crocodile walking was-a none too bright.

La la-la-la-la la,
la-la-la-la la,
la-la-la-la-la la.

La la-la-la-la la,
la-la-la-la la,
la-la-la-la-la la.

Steve's putting his baby at risk was total recklessness on his part...says it would take an earthquake to make him fall down...yeah, right! People fall down! Really good, up-to-date parody, Guy! 5's

Well done - tricky song to parody! 5's

Great parody! It's a shame that Steve is getting all the bad press - everyone forgets that he messes with the crocodiles every day. He was either between the croc and the baby, or the baby was out of the croc's vision. I'm getting off topic though. It's a great parody.

Owing to the unpredictability of animals, I don't think the baby should have been within 50 yards of that crocodile.

Once this story broke out, I knew there'd be a parody about it sooner or later. And I could have guessed who'd write it. Pretty good effort Guy - though you seemed to miss a line in the chorus, between "snap at your behind" and "recording drama". Still, it's a tough song to parody as Johnny said, and you did a great job with it, so 4-5-5 for you.

Amen. And his reasons are lame- "teaching his kids to be crocodile savvy"? A baby a couple of months old? I wouldn't bring my baby that close to a house cow.

ABD - Admittedly I do not know the song all that well and I may have gotten a bum copy of lyrics when I wrote the parody. I knew it well at one time but swiss cheese memory sometimes takes it toll. I have writen several parodies where I did not know the original song and still seemed to pull it off. Thanks all for comments, votes, and support.

Aw, crikey, this was great! I still think the only reason Paul Hogan made a third "Crocodile Dundee" movie was because Irwin was giving Australians a bad name.
