The Lyrics

I slave over a hot computer all day and I want to come home and slave over a hot stove too? I'm not ready for the looney bin yet. In all actuality the holiday meals are usually prepared by my son and myself. We were lucky this year and were invited out for Thanksgiving. We're open for Christmas if anyone wants to invite.

I like the way the duckling stuffing tastes,
Intense that skin, so brown.
And I wanna heap or two,
Of that dessert delight,
And potatoe's starch, gravy brown.

I just want some feastful easy mealing,
Glad I know Hugh's Mar-ketĀ® up town.
'Cause I don t really fancy
food for hounds.

For me take out where you pay and go,
With a woman can't stew nor bake roll.
Ah, but she can't bake not any way,
Hugh's done and ready no how too slow.

I just want some feastful easy mealing,
Don't wanna cook 'til dusk from dawn,
Butter-balls, bread, peas, hams, wings,
Pay and gone.

I'll get a feeding I'll weigh on through,
Pheasant covered, cornish hen.
Got this choice, no whimpering
Just real Christmas cheer, belly,
we'll forever eat well again.

I found me some feastful easy mealing,
And I know this meal will stay down.
And I'm already planning...
I'm already planning...
Yes, I'm already planning packin' pounds.

Uum-uum. uum, uum-uum.

"Cooking" for me has devolved into taking a rectangular box out of the freezer and putting it into the microwave for anywhere from 4 to 9 minutes, depending on directions. I make a great microwave oatmeal in the morning. An old friend (another bachelor) invited me over for Thanksgiving this year...we nuked some frozen pizzas...they were just fine...turkey is OK, but the idea of stuffing myself has lost a lot of its appeal now that it takes me several days to get over an over-eating episode. Anyway, 'nuff about me, nice job, 5's ~ ~ ~
