Song Parodies -> "Theme for LeBron James"

Original Song Title:

"Theme from Mohagony"

Original Performer:

Diana Ross

Parody Song Title:

"Theme for LeBron James"

Parody Written by:

Paul Warren

The Lyrics

The real song was written by Gerald Goffin...who we lost last week, and he wrote great songs with his ex Carole King...he also wrote the Theme from "Mahogany"(AKA "Do You Know Where You're Going To")...which wasn't the original title until Diana Ross re-recorded it! RIP-Gerry Goffin.
Chorus-Do you know where you're going to?
Did you like what your team has shown you?
What team will you go to? I dunno!
Did you get what you were hopin' for?
When you made The Decision there's no open doors!
What were you lookin' for? I dunno!

1-Once you were face-to-face, LeBron!
With Jim Gray from ESPN!
Your spirit was so free at that time...
Then you just trashed Cleveland again!

Repeat Chorus

2-Now you have lost again...LeBron!
You let the 4th quarter just slip from your hands!
You can't wait so long for a three-peat!
You're so damn sad that you now left the Heat!

Repeat Chorus
Is it me or is LeBron James one of the most hated people in the 2000's alongside with GWB, Obama, and Alec Baldwin...just to name a few?
