The Lyrics

I think the comment "this is amiright not am I right wing" made the subject come out.. Thanks lefties for this suggestion, and no thanks for the freedom you want to take away to write it..you try and try to fill my head with socialist ideals, and stuff, here's something for you to fill yours.. take some shale, crushed rock, limestone, crushed shells, rock and iron ore, mix well, feed in water, into a kiln, heat and get the finished product out at the end of the clinker process.. tilt your head sideways, put the delivery chute to your ear, and fill.. allow to set solid.. Don't forget to plug the lower ear of it will run out the bottom...there..... cement
took a little new gall
and a few rounds
my points, right wing abounds
they stood there mad and snooty with two left eyes
and points of their own, communist ties..
socialism guys..

born in the cornfields where their teeth got yellow
now they praise this messianistic fellow
voting on parodies the songs I sing
asking am I right wing
trying to censor every freedom thing
working for the right wing.. in obamatime
we'll defeat obamatime

write what I love, I guess I've done it..
now they want to silence me,but oh so far from it
I am well sung but listless and bored
writing's not a chore
freedoms stole away every chance they could
in the backroom, the alleys, it's all no good
barry's here and he deceived
and commiecons cared
they're getting so scared..

askin' am I right wing
trying to keep up the free to do thing
working for the right wing
in obamatime
and oh I wonder
am I frightening
to them I wonder?
and we'll see obama blunder
or will they put me under

I heard last night an obama blunder
stimulus package, three trillion number
started humming a tune a clear bright ring
dreaming of the right wing
When you just don't seem to hear freedom's ring
ask me am I right wing
with end times closing in

Very original idea for a parody, and you make some good points. There was a time when liberals were FOR freedom of expression........

I think you going too far, man. I do NOT want for this site to become too involved in the right wing business. And I'm sure the majority of us don't want that either. No vote here.

George....when the shoe was on the other foot it was Katie bar the door...there were so many pro-Dem. parodies. There were no complaints then! Malcom, you write very good parodies, and this was no exception. 5's

Thanks for the vote of confidence Adag. As a long term contributor , your input is invaluable and means lots!... keep smiling

adaigo: I'm confused about your comment. However I totally get what Mr. Straitjacket says (clever name, btw)...we should NOT let "am i right wing" rubbish overtake the site. When we had poo parodies a couple years back, those were overrunning the site, but at least they had no threats aimed at individuals. DK this OS, so no vote from me.

I agree with George Straitjacket and Bored with Higgins. Let's not forget for a minute about Linda Terhune and Dr Music, who were both banned for reasons involving attacks and insults. The poo parodies weren't much better, but as BWH said, at least they didn't attack anyone. 1s.

"Bored With Higgins": how nice of you to agree with "George Straightjacket". Especially since you are the same person. Super lame, man, super lame. I'm not removing your duplicate comment either.

Malcolm, good parody here, but your opening comment trumped it.

Thanks, Red..like Adagio, as a long term member here your reading my stuff means a lot. As you know by now I rant from time to time, then move on. How long the odumbas take to move? who knows.. but this too will end.. sigh...

You still don't get it, Malcolm. President Obama and his supporters are not "communists" or "socialists." We are liberals, and if you don't understand the difference, then all the freedom of expression in the world isn't going to make a difference. The far left in this country is marginalized, and they have no control over anything. By contrast, there have been, since at least the 1992 Republican Convention, people running the Republican Party that those considered right-wing "extremists" in 1964 would say, "Whoa, son, you've gone too far." Ask 100 liberals, and they'll say Bill Ayers didn't like LBJ any more than he liked Nixon, and is not someone to admire. Ask 100 "conservatives," and maybe 20 or 30 will say David Koresh was a victim of a federal government run amok, and maybe 20 others will say, yes, he was a criminal, but the government went too far in going after him. And once these people were threatened with the loss of their power, they showed their true colors at McCain and especially at Palin rallies. And now that they've lost their power, we have seen them in full derangement. We opposed Bush because of what he did; they oppose Obama because of what he is: A black liberal who wants to give everybody the chances the right-wingers think only they should have. One more thing: If you object to being called a "right-winger," then I guess we've finally succeeded in making "liberal" no longer the dirtiest word in politics. To borrow a phrase from the guy you used to pal around with, "Mission Accomplished."
