"Tappin' Americans' Phones"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

George W. Bush approaches the microphone, and in an astonishing display of arrogance, begins to sing...
After talks with AlfredoG,
I can't hide this anymore;
I'll take no probing questions, see
I felt like tappin' Americans' phones

Tap, tap, tappin' Americans' phones
Tap, tap, tappin' Americans' phones
Tap, tap, tappin' Americans' phones
Tap, tap, tappin' Americans' phones

Yes, I've used the NSA!
And I'll use 'em plenty more!
Obtainin' warrants feels so gay!
I feel like tappin' Americans' phones!

Tap, tap, tappin' Americans' phones
Tap, tap, tappin' Americans' phones
Tap, tap, tappin' Americans' phones
Tap, tap, tappin' Americans' phones

Truth and justice shall prevail
And we'll end this bloody war
Until then, you'll be surveilled
I feel like tappin' Americans' phones!

Tap, tap, tappin' Americans' phones
Tap, tap, tappin' Americans' phones
Tap, tap, tappin' Americans' phones
Tap, tap, tappin' Americans' phones

Other than calling our illegitimate Attorney General Alberto Gonzales "Alfredo G" (what the hell, it's the least we can do to him), this one is a winner. Tell the whole world.

Alfredo, Alberto, whatever, all them HispanoLatinos sound like ranch hands to me.

Good stuff Bob. It's been awhile since I heard TOS (only GNR's version recently) so I gave you the benefit of the doubt on pacing the title line which seems a syllable off to my eyes.

Thanks, Red, I gave myself license because when George W. says "Americans" it only has three syllables.
