The only reason I know anything about this series is because of Linkara's History of Power Rangers series (Linkara is also how I know of this particular Bee Gees song - it was in the 22 Brides episode of Atop The Fourth Wall, pretty sure). Now that I've got that shameless plug that I'm not even getting paid for out of the way, on to the parody!

Kyouryuu Sentai Zyuranger > Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Now that that's out of the way, I must say that this was a great parody. 555, and for those who are wondering, Power Rangers Samurai comes out next Monday on Nick at 8:00 PM.

I remember. . .and am glad to be rid of. . .that show. Sorry buddy, Power Rangers were really hard for me to get into, and as such I couldn't get up much of a laugh for any of the material in this one. . .seems like it paced well. . .
I remember too and personally I counted the Power Rangers to be a weak and lousy rip-off of those kitsy-and-cheap-but-very-cool Japanese sci-fi programs. They were the rage when I was in college and our campus newspapers lampooned them as the "Mighty Morphine Power Rangers". This parody shows you did intense research and you did it well but the Aquabats put on a cooler image complete with a theme song and they ain't even a team of superheroes - they're a true-to-life band.
(Artistry) You've inspired me... I now think our AmIRight "Roomful of Monkeys" should be renamed to "Mighty Morphin' Parody Rangers". Good write on a topic I know nothing about.
Artistry...I've watched Power Rangers a couple of times...I had a nephew who was WAY into them a few years back...so I know a little bit about the show. Not a LOT. BUT...this cracked me up. Seriously. I especially loved this:

(SOTM). One thing I never got with Power Rangers or any other rip-off show related to it, was how their swords and stuff cut through anything. Looked like they came right out of Toys 'R Us. Heh.

SOTM: Unfortunately, I don't really care for Power Rangers, and even less for The Bee Gee's. That said, this is a pretty good work, even if most of the things went over my head.
