The Lyrics

You worried about "My Life,"
How much would it reveal the vice,
The shadowy plans,
And just what you might face if they came to light.
So you went into

The archives one fine day.
Pants you were wearing were way
Too big—extra size
Your memory was not enough for all you prized.
Suddenly, it's hazy.

Oh, Sandy, well
You came for what was not for taking
And you took it away.
Oh, Sandy, well
When caught, you knew that you'd be faking
Absentmindedness play. Oh, Sandy!

You're standing at a TV mic,
Telling the world that it was, like,
A mistake-you were caught up in finding
Some data to be mined
Among the book bindings.

Oh, Sandy, well
You came for what was not for taking
And you took it away.
Your pants need
A frisking, and that would be shaking
The papers you waylaid, Oh, Sandy!

Still you scheme, on talk shows in the morning.
In the meantime, the law may be calling.

Oh, Sandy, well
You came for what was not for taking
And you took it away.
Oh, Sandy, well
There is a small chance they'll be taking
You, like the notes, away. D'oh, Sandy!

John, I got a little lost on the pacing but overall, good parody about another little political mystery

Very good parody, John. I'm surprised that there are not more parodies about this topic and also surprised that this parody doesn't have more votes. I also commend you, John, for being able to spoof the left as well as the right.
