The Lyrics

...as sung by the dead marion crane...
on the first part of the journey
i was running with all my might
cause a theft occurred and i took wing
forty thousand bucks, i bring
the first thing i did was to throw off the cops
swapped my car...for one found
the heat was on...sought by FBI
on my trail, they sent their hounds

you see, i've been to this hotel
seems that "bates" was the name
it felt good to be out of the rain
in this hotel...i was attacked by some dame
but it just turned out, twas a son, quite insane
ma ma ma...ma ma ma ma ma...ma ma ma...ma ma
ma ma ma...ma ma ma ma ma...ma ma ma...ma ma

stabbin' all crazed, was her dressed up son
and my naked body sure bled
he was so strange...what a messed up son
claimed he's doing as his mama said
what a grim episode, as my blood freely flowed
made me sad to think i was dead

you see, i've been to this hotel
seems that "bates" was the name
it felt good to be out of the rain
in this hotel...i was attacked by some dame
but it just turned out, twas a son, quite insane
ma ma ma...ma ma ma ma ma...ma ma ma...ma ma
ma ma ma...ma ma ma ma ma...ma ma ma...ma ma

on the next day, he covered up his spree
there was nothing of mine to see
took my pants and skirts and socks and things
in my car trunk, he did fling
the marsh here isn't pleasant when its sucking you down
in this muck, i was shoved
under the surface...quite a while till i'm found
and my body is pulled above

you see, i've been to this hotel
seems that "bates" was the name
it felt good to be out of the rain
in this hotel...i was attacked by some dame
but it just turned out, twas a son quite insane
ma ma ma...ma ma ma ma ma...ma ma ma...ma ma
ma ma ma...ma ma ma ma ma...ma ma ma...ma ma
ma ma ma...ma ma ma ma ma...ma ma ma...ma ma
ma ma ma...ma ma ma ma ma...ma ma ma...ma ma
ma ma ma...ma ma ma ma ma...ma ma ma...ma ma
ma ma ma...ma ma ma ma ma...ma ma ma...ma ma

I hate America (that probably just put me on an FBI watch list) but I liked this. 555

I'm stunned that you keep coming up with great takes on the same film, each as clever and original as the previous. Top stuff. 555

And to think I was Bated again into reading one of these. It will be a while until I shower again. Was that boy what dressed up like his ma what you call "queer bate"? I actually saw a Bates Hotel in south east Kentucky a bunch of years ago. I think there was a lure and bate shop next to it called the "Master Baiter". I think they were owned by the same family, some old hag and a sissy lookin' boy. Anyway I bought 5 lures from the bate store but they just sunk in the muck.
I was arrested in that town for selling books. I was let off on a technicality - no one could prove that they were actual books. Well at least part of the Kentucky story is true. Since this parody is about mystery and suspense you figure what is true and what is bull sheet..

Your movie and fairy tale parodies are so good they ought to be used in radio ads for the movies and books. Always top rate word-smithing and plots clear and concise, with lots of humor
