The Lyrics

Narrator: Our Fearless Appointed Leader.
Lord, I was born a bumblin' man.
Tryin' to make a killin' and doin' the best I can.
So in the next election, I hope you'll understan'
that I was born a bumblin' man.

My father's a patrician from Connecticut
a preppie kind of right Republican.
And I was born in the back seat of a black limousine
in a motorcade there on Route 1.

Lord, I was born a bumblin' man.
Tryin' to make a killin' and doin' the best I can.
So in the next election, I hope you'll understan'
that I was born a bumblin' man.

(instrumental break)

I'm on my way to Washington this mornin'.
I'm leaving from that good old Camp David.
They're always havin' a good time on the Potomac, y'all.
Pay no attention to screwups that I did.

Lord, I was born a bumblin' man.
Tryin' to make a killin' and doin' the best I can.
So in the next election, I hope you'll understan'
that I was born a bumblin' man.

Lord, I was born a bumblin' man.
Lord, I was born a bumblin' man.
Lord, I was born a bumblin' man.
Lord, I was born a bumblin' man.
(guitar fadeout)

Yeah - they vote you down, but they never have the courage to comment... I gave you 5-4-4. But the million dollar question is: would Gore have bumbled less? Assuming that is what George is doing, which is a matter of political interpretation... ;-)

Meriadoc - I can answer your question, since it has been a long long time and Michael is apparently not interested in answering those questions from "peassants" whyile he tries to wipe parodies out as fast ashis remedial mind can do so, (a guy who thinks he is good because far left wackos give him good scores for any piece that disses the right or bush, no matter how lame it is or how little work was done on it, this song being a good example of that). He's aquired a puffed head that he actually thinks is deserved, (which is pretty funny to me - normal folk would look at his redundantcy, his lack of imagination and his small childish vocabulary and think "what, this guy thinks he's good" and laugh it off. But the radicals keep him there, and we all know liberals are dishonest to the core... they even lie to one another and love that stuff! ------ To answer your question; Hard to say, since "Mr. "rush them out for quantity and skip on writing actual quaity parodies" man (who does not make sense in most of his politcal parodies), doesn't specify what word his made up word, 'Bumblin' really means, (it could be that he meant "bumbled" or even "bumbling" or even "brave"), and his points that preceed and proceed that mystery word are not in line with the rest of the sections, it can't even be guessed, (hence, the rush job is consistanly poor and he doesn't care). It may mean nothing but one of his made up words - he does have a very limited vocabulary you know, read more of his past work), but if it is "bumbling" - I think Gore would have been worse. Given the fact that he has become a total loon, a classic cass of a post break down and then total flip-out --- still certifiable.... I think maybe his "HANDS WOULD BE MORE UNSTABLE THAN BUSHS'" (since that's kind of what that word means... Loonies have that moving thing and I would imagine, even through all of bush's attacks from his own country (for political gain, nasty as they can be, to hell with the county attitudes, desperation to the core... driven by hate and lust for the top dog position etc), he is still darn together. He is still driven, he is not running around his last term chasing interns and Barbara Striensand, (yep, they did the nasty too as it turns out), he runs, keeps fit, keeps his goal on the country... Gore on the other hand, lost it and 911 would have prob. killed the man - prob. would have blown some gasket that would just render him DEAD! I don't know about 'bumble' cuz it is actually a verb and Michael the wonder loser has used it as an adjective, but if it were okay and that is what he meant, Gore would be worse again for the very same reasons, (depending on what def. genius was shooting for) ------- I would not worry about the score thing on his behalf, although it was very nice to, he doesn't even bother to respond to you after a couple years... and really, he is Mr double standards hypocrite to the core when he rates others. He whines about the ones and the horrid folk who must leave them and how they are not voting failry cuz they votes all ones even in pacing... But he will vote all ones all the time for any parody that is not pro-liberal and is in fact, pro conservative -- he's the ultimate in saying one thing and doing the other, and then judging by his rates from really "off" people, he bases his esteem, what a case! I hoped that I helped you some, at least I tried!

I don't specify what "bumblin'" means? I means Bush bumbles. Also fumbles and stumbles, and his approval rating crumbles -- much too late, sad to say. "The rush job is consistanly poor and he doesn't care"? Couldn't have described drug-hypocrite Limbaugh better myself. (I have tried.) 9/11 would have killed Gore? Opposite: Gore would have prevented it, since he was actually interested in airport security, while Bush couldn't have cared less. And it's funny how you mention that I turned the verb "bumble" into an adjective, because one of my pet peeves is people taking adjectives and turning them into verbs -- "antiquing," for example. Linda, Merry is ten times the person you are. (I wanted to say, "ten times the woman," or, "ten times the man," but let' s not open THAT can of worms again!)
