| Parody Song Title: | "Borin' Ramblin' Man" |
| Parody Written by: | Tim Mayfield |
Call me a borin' ramblin' man
Folks say I keep on drivellin', they're blamin' it on my glands
Love to do my talkin', till sun no longer stands
Call me a borin' ramblin' man
They had enough of me way down in N'Orleans
Got bound up in a white coat just for fun
Then I was thrown in the back seat of a south bound bus
Prayin' never heard from again
Call me a borin' ramblin' man
Folks claim that I'm the devil, they're bangin' their pots and pans
Lookin' for some reason, to bind my mouth and hands
Call me a borin' ramblin' man
Seems everywhere I go there's folks in mournin'
Crying 'bout some thing that they call peace
It seems they never find it until I go away, bored
And now I wonder will this ever cease?
Call me a borin' ramblin' man
Makin' some conversation and doing it worse than them
When it's time for speakin', they're givin' me a hand
(muffled)
Call me a borin' ramblin' man
Folks say I keep on drivellin', they're blamin' it on my glands
Love to do my talkin', till sun no longer stands
Call me a borin' ramblin' man

particularly enjoyed the banging of pots and pans line
Liked the strait jacket (white coat) line and the hand over the mouth (when it;s time for speaking) at the end. Very clever and funny. I vote three fives.
First thought this was the song by waylon Jennings...but, I guess it's different one...but, I checked out this version. too..fine job, here
Not at all boring.
