Good job. Until I realized you were driving through a rural area, I was sure this was about Route 1 in New Jersey, a road I know all too well. Though there is that Anheuser-Busch brewery in Newark, just south of the Airport. But when yeast is the best-smelling thing on the road (with the exception of the occasional Outback Steakhouse), you know it's a highway that smells.
