| Original Song Title: | "Dancing Queen"(MP3) |
| Original Performer: | ABBA |
| Parody Song Title: | "Burqua Queen" |
| Parody Written by: | Peter Andersson a.k.a K1chyd |
This one was written shortly after Kabul was liberated. I didn´t know about Amiright back when. But since I do now... here goes:
Civil rights and the lights were low
Downtown Kabul they stood in row
Beating up on some heathens
Getting in a craze
This was a Taliban place
Now, anybody could be Omar
Night is young and Osama´s far
With his knifes and his AK:s
Everything is fine
Guys are in mood for a goat
Their libidos gets afloat...
She is the Burqua Queen, just a teen, mother of seventeen
Burqua Queen, once she have, married to Laden been
She can hide, she can strive, having a bore of a life
See that girl, watch her clean, she is the Burqua Queen
Guys been teased and she turns them on
But she´s covered and soon she´s gone
Looking out for a warlord
Anyone will do
She´s in no mood for romance
But if they pay for a chance...
She is the Burqua Queen, ain´t so keen, hidden and not obscene
Burqua Queen, could have been, her country´s Norma Jean
She can hide, she can strive, having a bore of a life
See that girl, watch her wean, she´s still the Burqua Queen
Downtown Kabul they stood in row
Beating up on some heathens
Getting in a craze
This was a Taliban place
Now, anybody could be Omar
Night is young and Osama´s far
With his knifes and his AK:s
Everything is fine

See that girl, watch her clean, she is the Burqua Queen

But she´s covered and soon she´s gone
Looking out for a warlord
Anyone will do
She´s in no mood for romance

See that girl, watch her wean, she´s still the Burqua Queen

Hey! Where's the beginnig chorus? Other than that little mistake, the song is sort of funny!
What's with the question marks?
It's a sitewide thing since Chucky started using Firefox and it is affecting everything (?) not written on American keyboards (I think). Also, I was tought in school to to use the accent symbol for apostrophes (Guess my teachers with glasses thought it was no biggie to get themselves some extra help) and until this week I was still typing that way and that symbol is now replaced with questionmarks by Firefox so my stuff is being hit hard.
Now, if firefox truly wanna be a challenger to Explorer theyÂ'll fix this in upcoming versions and then - hopefully - parodies will be restored the way they looked before.

Apparently it's paragraph signs now, I wonder if that's progress or the opposite...
