Parody Song Title:

"Thyme When You Season"

Parody Written by:

Guy DiRito

The Lyrics

Use some thyme when you season,
And gloves freezed dried.
If your thyme is a little yeasty,
You could try with purchased brands.

Don't dry them in the sun too (purchased brands)
Hey yo, already done.
Just use thyme when you're seasoning what bubbling.

Cooking game? Tasting ratty?
(Your dish) Is your dish gamey?
Have you shaken, any thyme?
(Kudos) Kudos for when you feed your ribs.

Grill it for me slowly (Grill those cuts)
'Cause even if it's crow. It's the thyme,
Used to season what's bubbling.

555 Guy. You forgot parsley, sage and rosemary though. :) I may be reading it funky, but the second line, " and cloves freeze dried ", did you means CLOVES? If not, then I'll take a remedial cooking course.

Sage as usual, Guy. Ant: Just remember, cloves are a many-splendored thing. Did you guys hear about Barry Bonds' latest 'roid rage? Seems he took his bat and smashed all the seasonings in his mistress' kitchen. He holds the record for most homers hit in and single season AND the record for most seasoners hit in a single home. (That joke's so old, it goes back to Babe Ruth, but it's always in season.)

it's a funny OS, isn't it - eccentric pacing/rhyming pattern - and great matching to it, Guy - 555

This comment will probably be intentionaly misunderstood or punned (I know I would) but one of my favorite dishes (and one of the dishes considered generaly Swedish) is Yellow Pea Soup, and what it takes to make it perfect is the right amount of thyme. // The Swedish Chef K1chyd

"Have you shaken any thyme" is a great sub. Well done.
