A girl or a boy
It's in a quiet gestation land
Hope in our dreams will take breath and scream
"Hi Mom and Dad!"

Nine months growth
With two arms and legs and eyes, not three
Loving wife is becoming twice
The space she was, we see

My belly looks like rising dough

Blue blazes, now the nausea
Creeps up on me
I trip over the dog, I'm weak in the knees
Find dresses made for the elephant in town
And my bra size explodes
As I gain 40 pounds!

Nothing to eat and nothing to wear
And feeling fatigued
And I everything I do hear sounds like cacophany

Pregnant I just might lose my mind
To doctors I nervously will go
I look at my amazing hubby
He keeps watching The Man Show!

His eyes are fixed on
That skinny little ho
And he says he understands, but oh hell, no
