I thought about this song, being in the time period for the contest and wondered if anyone would parody it. It's not a stretch to say you did a great job with it!
Don't want to burn you so I'll say this was fantastic and I'm really happy that you parodied this song for the competition. Simply because it's the craziest song from this half-decade of music.
I hope you stretched before you wrote all that!
(Ages Round 1, 2011) Love the wild and crazy OS and love the concept. It didn't seem perfect as far as pacing (but I do have to say this one is difficult for most parody-writers to pace perfectly), but it was great otherwise and quite singable. 4-5-5.
It's hard to pace a song this wild and crazy perfectly so you were close enough on that. This one looked impossible to pull off but you did it with flying colors. Fantastic job!
(Ages R1 '11) Wow, you hit the nail on the pacing with this one. As Matt said, it's pretty hard to pace such a wild and crazy song. This could go very well with my "I Got Bruised Legs" parody. Oh, well. (Singing) "A-well-a jive, jive, jive, you got good vibes! A-well-a 5s-5s-5s, A. Skelding's got three 5's!"
Oh, btw, I can imagine Peter Griffin singing that kind of song because as overweight and out of shape as he is, his arms would likely hurt.
