| Parody Song Title: | "He'll Never Please Another Jew" |
| Parody Written by: | Michael Pacholek |
Another Mel Gibson parody. Disclaimer: Although raised Methodist, by ancestry I'm one-quarter Jewish. Hence, a rather large number of "oys" and "oy veys" in my parodies.
(instrumental opening)
There's a new world somewhere
they call the Promised Land.
I can go there someday
but Mel just might be banned.
He could search the whole world over
until his life is through
but you know, he'll never please another Jew.
There is always someone for each of us, they say.
But the Hebrew someones, to Mel, they say, "Oy vey!"
They don't need his crummy movies
or prejudicial view.
And you know, he'll never please another Jew.
It's a long, long journey
they'd like him to go ride.
Now, he walks through a storm
and how he's cried.
How he's cried!
He has made such a fortune.
His pleasure now is small.
He could blow it all tomorrow
if he still has the gall.
And if he should lose box office
he won't know what he'll do.
And you know, he'll never please another Jew.
(instrumental break)
And if he should lose box office
he might go back to brew.
And you know, he'll never please another Jew.
Another Jew.
Another Jew!

Mel, you're such a schmuck! (I can say that on this site, right?)

I just made a rather unpleasant discovery. You know how comedian Tim Allen's real name is Timothy Allen Dick? (He changed it, but comedian Andy Dick, no relation, did not.) Well, Seekers lead singer Judith Durham (lovely girl when young, wonderful voice) was born Judith Mavis Cock. I don't know what "cock" means in Australian slang, but I hope for her sake it didn't mean the same thing it does here.
truer words were never scribbled
He blew it - put the whole shoebox in his mouth.
Hec, Michael. Sadly for Jude, it does. Drove her nuts at one point, since she was working with male Jazz players, and you know the jokes they put about, so she decided to take the brave step of using her Mother, Hazel's maiden name, Durham. It stuck, thank God. NO WAY about Tim Allen, that is scary!!!!
I love Mel Gibson...but that was dead on and hilarious.
I keep checking back here for quality parodies. You have definitely come through this time. So funny.
