The news rang out, T'was the season once more
People would scurry from store to store
Amazes me that there arent more here to blame
Noone has even drawn out a plan

T'was the night before Christmas, the stores are all closed
Hope that you get more than a globe
Young ones went shopping, and fiercly they fought
Scratching and bleeding - and barely a thought

If theres a prezzie that you don't like
Well... just wait until all their backs are then turned

Open the door, they whisper and stare
