Song Parodies -> "Winchester Is Evil"

Original Song Title:

"Winchester Cathedral"

Original Performer:

The New Vaudeville Band

Parody Song Title:

"Winchester Is Evil"

Parody Written by:

Michael Pacholek

The Lyrics

Unconsciously triggered by Sloatead's whose parody of WC. No, it's not a parody of a British soccer team. It's about a character on "M*A*S*H!"
(long instrumental opening)

Winchester is evil.
He's bringing me down.
He's counting his cash as
my money runs down.

He could've done something
but he didn't try.
He could've loaned money
to B.J. and I.

Now everyone knows just how Charles makes my stomach turn.
Still, as a doctor, I gotta say he's better than Ferret-Face Frank Burns!

Winchester is evil.
He's bringing me down.
He's counting his cash as
my money runs down.

A pompous old goat, a pompous old goat
Charles Emerson Winchester, Third!

Arcane peripheral characters make for funny allusion for the right audience like myself. (Your songs seem to come from a similar seventies childhood as mine). I enjoyed this.
