Just for the record: I hate Tanqueray (and all other Gins & Vodkas)--the stuff tastes like paint remover. Single malt scotch, on the other hand...
Night out on the town
Drinking Tanqueray
I'm afraid to wake
Now it's the next day
My friends they did warn
That I'd end up this way
It's excessive drinking
That's making my room sway
Bathroom-wards I lurch
Pass out along the way
Then I get up on my knees
And once again I splay
I told my boss I had a cold
No I won't eat today
It's excessive drinking
Now the piper I pay
Night out on the town
Bombed on Tanqueray
Sober I can't fake
Must puke--out of my way!
Need coffee and Visine
To get through today
It's excessive drinking
That has made me this way
It's excessive drinking
That has made me this way
It's excessive drinking
That has made me this way
Drinking Tanqueray
I'm afraid to wake
Now it's the next day
My friends they did warn
That I'd end up this way
It's excessive drinking
That's making my room sway
Bathroom-wards I lurch
Pass out along the way
Then I get up on my knees
And once again I splay
I told my boss I had a cold
No I won't eat today
It's excessive drinking
Now the piper I pay
Night out on the town
Bombed on Tanqueray
Sober I can't fake
Must puke--out of my way!
Need coffee and Visine
To get through today
It's excessive drinking
That has made me this way
It's excessive drinking
That has made me this way
It's excessive drinking
That has made me this way

Excuse me, but the original band name is the Mamas and the Papas. Shame on you
Nicely done.
nice "spin"
Spelling Cop--you're right, of course and I am duly shamed. Royce, Alvin--thanks!
Though not off-paced I docked you a point there because the background vocals ( while identical to the main lines) are missing. I was the opposite of you, even the Blue Label Johnny Walker wanted to make me heave. Agreed that cheap gin and vodka tastes like paint remover, though Bombay Sapphire or Finlandia were quite nice.
Salut. 5s
Red Ant: If you think Johnny Walker Blue is good stuff, no wonder you don't like scotch. I prefer Dalmore or Tomantul--smooth! I've never tried Bombay or Finlandia though, so i guess we're even there. John--thanks!
Really funny, 555's
