The Lyrics

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale
A tale about a brand new craze
Which puts people in different situations,
vying against each other, to win money after a certain amount of days.

The Real World was the first, starting about 1991,
then CBS came along, and said stranding people on an island would be fun.
Survivor came in the Summer of 2000.
The compition started to begin. The competition started to begin.

Shortly after Richard Hatch took first prize,
CBS introduced Big Brother,
which locked people in a house for about 40 days and nights.
Then Fox and NBC joined in. Then Fox and NBC joined in.

So now we have a whole bunch of different reality shows,
with The Mole, Fear Factor too,
The Bachelor, and the Amazing Race,
and now Ozzy Osbourne has joined the fray.
Now iit appears it's going to stay,
This thing called Reality TV!
