Parody Song Title:

"Minimum Wage Workers from Poland"

Parody Written by:

Stella Baker

They seek him here, they seek him there
His head is shaved, he likes his beer
Speaking broken English but he really tries his best
Cos he's a minimum wage worker from Poland

And when he does his little round
Of vacancies in London town
Eagerly pursuing all the low paid building work
Cos he's a minimum wage worker from Poland

Oh yes he is, oh yes he is
He thinks he's got it worked out with his CV
And when he puts his hard hat on at the building site
He is a minimum wage worker from Poland

Oh yes he is, oh yes he is
There's one thing that he likes and that is pound coins
One week he's doing carpentry, then next he's laying bricks
Cos he's a minimum wage worker from Poland

They seek her here, they seek her there
In Wimbledon, in Leicester Square
Everywhere the domestic cleaner army marches on
Each one a minimum wage worker from Poland

Oh yes she is, oh yes she is
She shares a room with Kasia, Basia and Asia
This domestic work seeking woman always tries her best
Cos she's a minimum wage worker from Poland

Oh yes she is, oh yes she is
She flies from job to job just like a butterfly
And like her male counterpart they dress like throwbacks from the 80's
Cos they are minimum wage workers from Poland
They are minimum wage workers from Poland
They are minimum wage workers from Poland

This was not well-paced, it wasn't funny in the slightest, and you just offended the wrong Polack! The least you could've done was mention that beach towns all up and down the East Coast have sought out high school and college exchange students from Eastern Europe to work at their stores and restaurants, where they can make an honest living, if not a very good one though they usually don't have to pay rent. But this was a lousy parody. But then, you never expect the Polish Inquisition!

I'm not Polish, but I do get offended, when I go to job action groups, by well-meaning supervisors who feel I should simplify job application froms I complete because of the fear I'll scare off bosses.
