Thanks all! I kept on thinking of Groucho's "Lydia the Tattooed Lady" as I was writing this.
Update: I recently learned that Dan Ingram, the legendary DJ on 77 WABC in New York, used to say at the end of the OS, "that was the Four Seasons with Shave it For Me" !!
At one point on the Ingram show they had actually changed the "save" to "shave" in the original song...
