The Lyrics

You ever figure out the twist in a film and just want it to be over and done with? Well, this guy does...
This film, I've got a hunch (got a hunch): it's the butler, see
You can't shock me now (shock me now), I'm callin' it now
Cause you had the gall (had the gall) to show that tall limey
Not be in the will (in the will) of that old guy Bi-ill
I know you (I know you), how you always work, mo-ovie
No deviations, cause it's sto-o-o-ock (ah-ah)
I've got a hunch (got a hunch): butler's nuts, that's the whole plo-ot

"Man, who could've done this?" says the stupid private di-ick
I'm like "Ma-ate, it's really obvious" (bah-dah-dah)
Not just a film dork, anyone over fou-our
Will scream "Du-ude, the damn butler did it!" (hey, hey, hey)
Movie, movie, don't deny-y (hey, hey, hey)
His alibi is a pile of lie-ies (hey, hey, hey)
Cause I know who did this crime, so don't prolong it, dude
Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh

Dumb film, I've got a hunch (got a hunch): it's the butler, see
No surprises now (nothin' now) know how this turns out
Wish I could spin on (could spin on) and skip this schlock movie
But it's live, can't skip (I can't skip) must sit through this shi-it
I know you (I know you), how you always work, mo-ovie
The same ev'ry time, it's so sto-o-o-ock (ah-ah)
I've got a hunch (got a hunch): butler's nuts, that's the damn plo-ot

I see through your ploy to pretend that it's Ro-oy
But you're wro-ong, he's not a killer, no (bah-dah-dah)
Admit that it's true that it's the butler du-ude
Who's the cau-ause of all the murders, don't (hey, hey, hey)
Movie, movie, don't deny-y (hey, hey, hey)
He did the crime, it's clear to my eye (hey, hey, hey)
He's the foe, ev'ryone watchin' knows that it's the truth
Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh

Damn film, I've got a hunch (got a hunch): it's the butler, see
There's no twist here now (no twist now), I'm tempted to shout
But that's rude and all (rude and all) to make such calls, stupid
Though I'm mad as shit (mad as shit), must quietly si-it
I know you (I know you), how you always work, mo-ovie
The same friggin' trope, so damn sto-o-o-ock (ah-ah)
I've got a hunch (got a hunch): butler's nuts, that's the dumb plo-ot
I-I-I know you-ou-ou, least I think I did, mo-ovie
But that endin' through me right o-o-o-off
I guess my hunch (was a dud)

Funnily enough, I don't actually know any stories where it was the butler who, in fact, did it.

So it wasn't Colonel Mustard, in the Study, with the Candlestick? (Oh wait, you said movie...). :-P

I have, actually, don't know how I forgot that. I mean, hell, I mention in the parody that the butler in the film's motive was his absence from a will and that was Edgar's whole motivation. Whoops!
