LOL! (or in renaldo's case, SOS!). Dave, this song was already under construction, it started out life as "Driving in the rain" - windscreen wipers don't work etc, and I thought "THAT SUCKS - Merry will tear me a new one if I suggest that to her". Around the same time I saw John Barry had made some comment in relation to having some sort of Abba-phobia, in another parody. In my unconscious, that must have stuck. And I don't know about there, but in Aus Volvo drivers have terrible reputations!

Pip - I believe it was one of my ABBA parodies that Sir John Barry made that comment on, but I'm not sure and I'm too lazy to go look it up. And what? No comment from Peter Andersson yet on this? And it must have been that "farked" ref in the parody that got Alvin all stirred up and inVOLVOed. So much for ABBA-scariness. I happen to like their music however but you two really shot from the hip on this one. Volvaciousness at its best. I like this, yes indeed I do I do I do I do I do. I fell out when I read that line. High Fives!
So I'm supposed to comment on this huh? Well, I can stand ABBA and some of their stuff is fairly OK but I'm not so big on them as you might think, and that hasn't improved since Björn Ulveaus became one of our country's most outspoken advocatees for a ban on filesharing and shutting down YouTube and the likes, you could say he's driving into the ditch in that area!
