The point is, if they were to do a remake of "The Sunshine Boys," Michael Douglas wouldn't need any old-age makeup! Whereas, if they were to do a remake of "The Graduate," his wife, "my girlfriend," Catherine Zeta-Jones, would still be a better choice for Elaine Robinson than for her mom! (Maybe I can switch to Katherine Ross, who played Elaine 40 years ago, she still looks good...)
