"Red Rubber Ball"

 (MP3)
Original Performer:

The Cyrkle

Parody Song Title:

"Red Rubber Doll"

Parody Written by:

Rick Duncan

The Lyrics

The original song was written by Paul Simon.
I should have known
She'd treat me so right
If I just keep enough air in her
She'll be mine every night
The guy at the adult store
Told me she was guaranteed
I surely got my money's worth
She gives me what I need

And I know I'm gonna feel all right
Loneliness is over now
The morning sun is shining
On my red rubber doll

Every young girl
I've been with in the past
Has given me such problems
I knew none of them would last
The one that's in my bed right now
Won't whimper or complain
And I make good time in traffic
When I use the car pool lane

And I know I'm gonna feel all right
Loneliness is over now
The morning sun is shining
On my red rubber doll

She does no chores
She's only there for sex
If she does nothing else
It's still more than my "ex"
She doesn't eat or gain a pound
Get sick or ever age
And if I come home drunk
She doesn't fly into a rage

And I know she's gonna feel all tight
Loneliness is over now
The morning sun is shining
On my red rubber doll
Rad and Mad ---Now Mari is sick. We share everything.

Rick D, nice one. I only had a few minutes on the site today, real busy. From the "Comments" section it looks like I should be looking at some of the last couple days parody posting. A bunch of lively exchanges. I was in such a hurry I ALMOST forgot to enter my vote for this one. Like somebody did on my "Morons & Lilian" parody. See, I know "The Onederer" was roaming around on that song and I happen to know the person who put in the 5-5-5 because I stood over him with a hammer here at work while he voted (he told me he loved it and I had played the CD for him so his vote for from the heart, just needed a little coaxing). So that's two votes and that's all the ones posted there. So.....LEAH, you liked my parody, right? And Lord knows I've been in such a hurry to spew my comments that on occasion I've forgotten to "Submit" my vote. Gotta go, see ya all tomorrow.

Nice. Me likee. Rick, I'm very proud of myself because I managed to figure out what DKTOS means (Leah's comment). Am I ready for management now? Get well, Mari, but don't take any drugs with phenylproplymina-whatever-it-is that just got recalled by the FDA. (Just about 80% of the over-the-counter cold remedies on the market)

(ABCs) Your ego would have been deflated if you tried submitting this nowadays! Some hilarious work here, and the comment at the bottom was enough to make a hardened criminal cringe, a sure sign of greatness! *inflating noise* 5 *inflating noise* 5 *inflating noise* 5 *BANG!*

Rick D - What? You mean you didn't buy the "self-cleaning" model? 5's. You know, I remember sitting on the beach at Playa Del Rey (It sounds a lot nicer than it really is (or was, either), although it wasn't all that bad back in the 60's), listening to this song, and others, on one of those chintzy, tinny portable radios. It was fun - except the time I fell asleep and got the absolutely horrendously painful sunburn...

Rick, you're a very strange man indeed! Almost as strange as Johnny! If that's possible! Good one!

Voted on this the other day; funny stuff. Hey, I didn't know Paul Simon wrote the original. I guess I thought Neil Diamond did, since he covered it. Thanks for the info-tainment.
