Bad news, Malcolm: The beer money has been stolen from your dresser. I think Ray Nagin took it.
Good parody, but in one verse (listed twice) your pacing was slightly off. The original line is "all the people stared as if we were both quite insane". Too many syllables in yours. Otherwise fine job.
Hey, Malc..."Bus Stop" was done by the Hollies (back when Graham Nash was still in the group), not the Byrds...
