Original Performer:

Parody Song Title:

"Ain't Shaved For Weeks"

Parody Written by:

Ethan Mawyer

The Lyrics

i do need to shave but not quite this badly.
Dude I need a razor
Left my own somewhere
All electric shavers
Are fine I don't care

Missed some, spots yeah, like all, of them
I showed my parents it bugged them
Ain't shaved for weeks

Once I won some prizes
But they disappeared
Would not be surprised if
They are in my beard

Though its, nasty, no one, can see
My face is covered with acne
Ain't shaved for weeks

Ain't shaved for weeks
I'm scruffy
Ain't shaved for weeks
I've got a lot of facial hair

Tried to run for guv in
Backers cut off funding
When they saw my face

Grossly, grubby, no one, loves me
Now babies cry cause I'm ugly
Ain't shaved for weeks

Tried to use a razor
But it hurt too much
I should get pre-shave but
I'm not in a rush

Lazy, crazy, ladies hate me
I ain't called nothing but shady
Ain't shaved for weeks
Ain't shaved for weeks

So YOU'RE the real slim shady! I can relate: I once left a hairbrush in a hotel room in Chicago. Didn't realize it until I was back in New Jersey. (And what were you doing in that hotel room in Chicago, Mike?) Not sleeping, but that's a story and a parody for another day.

I quit shaving when I got out of the military. Ain't shaved for years. I do keep it trimmed though. Good parody. I loved the verse with the lost prizes. LOL.

Ethan, I commend you for your versatility. Your parodies of new songs are good, but don't get as many votes as they probably deserve, so you do a Beatles' song, and you do it very well.

I was the first reader to vote and comment on this one, and I still think it's brilliant - great work here, again, Ethan - very well done.

Glad this one came 'round again - I'd missed it the first time. I enjoy your work, especially when I know the original song. Keep up the great writing!
