The Lyrics

Continuing my complete butchery of my favorite band, I submit more parodies written around the time the Anthologies came out. I know there may be ideas similar to what's already here, but oh well. P.S.,I have new website under construction.
I'm getting butter for a time..
I've been on a diet too long
The cravings are getting too strong
That margarine taste, is helping my waist
But I've got to have food that's wrong

I have to admit I'm getting butter
A little butter, for a time (an entire tub)
Yes I admit, I'm getting butter
A little butter on which to dine

I've gotten as huge as a whale
I can't see my feet on the scale
The doc said no more, can't fit through the door
My will power just seems to fail

I have to admit, I'm getting butter
A lot of butter for a time
Yes, I admit I'm getting butter
A lot of butter and it's all mine
Getting so much butter all the time

I used to be cruel to my stomach
I'd eat me a lunch of a salad and tea
Hungry I was and I know it's because
All that dieting wasn't for me

I admit, I'm getting butter
A ton of butter on my bread
Yes, I admit, I'm getting butter
A ton of butter till I am fed

Getting so much butter and it's mine....

You butter? You butter? You bet!

I've never liked the domestic violence lyrics in this original's bridge. Thanks, RAD, for giving me something to sing in their place.

Ain't no butter parody than this. Hey, wait, I stole your pun. And Spaff, domestic violence in the original? I always thought "I used to be cruel to my woman, I beat her..." meant at Parcheesi or something.

Had to give you a 4 on pacing as you left out some better butter batter babblings just before that bad bridge (as Spaff identified it - I thought it was a verse...) but anyway, it was a clever idea. Definite 5 on funny.
