The Lyrics

No relation to "Surfing Bird".
Flip the bird and you'll get beat
Flip the bird and lose your meat
Flip the bird to someone mad
Did you know the bird's not dove?
It's not fine, no fun time
Flip the bird, wuss
From the beginning I misunderstood
But once I've got it, the mood's not good

Flip the bird and you'll get beat
Flip the bird and lose your meat
Flip the bird to someone mad
Did you know the bird's not dove?
It's not fine, no fun time
Flip the bird, puss
Anywhere you'll go, the bird's been clipped
All the rude and the bad looks that I have dread

Flip the bird and you'll get beat
Flip the bird and lose your meat
Flip the bird to someone mad
Did you know the bird's not dove?
It's not fine, no fun time
Flip the bird, muss
Although I know what you'll do is not right
I'm here to see people having a fight

Flip the bird so you will pay
And the bird is here to stay
It's your bird I'm laughing at
And your friggin' bird is fat
It is fun, it's so dumb
Flip the bird, yeah!

Flip the bird, yeah! (repeat until fade)
Bird is the word!

Makes total sense to me for this parody topic. But chorus variations would definitely made this even better.

I agree with Grim, this was a good topic to go with the OS, but a few variations would have gone a long way. I really like the "You know the bird isn't dove" line. Good stuff!

(ABC) While the "bird's not dove" is a good play on the whole dove = peace thing, the repeating choruses really worked against you here. Didn't help that the past tense of "dread" is "dreaded", not just "dread" again. Still one of your better parodies, 544

(ABC) I feel like you missed out on a huge opportunity for more humor by repeating choruses. I laughed the first time I read it, but after that, I was looking for more funny lines and I just got the same ones. I liked them, but I wnted more, I guess that's kind of a good thing.

I was confused by the phrase "the bird's not dove" at first but once I read the comments I could see where you're coming from. This has to be one of your best Max. Keep it up!

Agree with above comments. Good idea that could have supported more variation.
