| Parody Written by: | Malcolm Higgins |
our government spent 850 million on three old british diesel subs.. two leaked, and one had a big ding in the hull.. but the only subs we understand in Canada are assorted, and ham and cheese
in the land in which I live,
chretien, yeah old J.C
bought some subs,
to skim the waves older british submarines,
so we took, delivery
of the subs, our fleet of three,
had to fix, a hole or two,
in our british submarines
we bought three old british submarines
british submarines, british submarines
we bought three old british submarines
british submarines british submarines
we patrol, the northern pole,
in the land of ice and snow,
yeah our navy can't be beat,
we have submarines in our fleet
one is blue, and one is grey,
will it sink or float, we ask today
under sea, or so it seems,
did we sink all three
submarines?? yeah hah
we bought three old british submarines
british submarines, british submarines
we bought three old british submarines
british submarines british submarines
now we rule, below the waves,
and discover aquatic caves
scenery is great you know
for the fellows in boats below
chretien is such a dope,
hope they get him in the periscope
swimming free, it makes me think
we should drag him down into the drink
we bought three old british submarines
british submarines, british submarines
we bought three old british submarines
british submarines british submarines
chretien, yeah old J.C

The facts are sad but your parody's funny
What DO they call submarine sandwiches in Canada? They call 'em heroes in New York, hoagies in Philly, po'boys in the South, grinders in some places. In New Jersey, we call 'em "pre-lunch snacks."
This one is great Malcolm! As I have some 'ties' with Canada I got quite a chuckle out of it!
Good satire - I agree with Royce, but absurdities come out well in parody.
*chuckle*
