The pharoah Akhenaten is known for abolishing the traditional polytheistic religion of Egypt and replacing it with the belief that the sun, called "the Aten", was the only god. "Khemet" is the Egyptian name for their own country, and means "black land". Akhetaten, meaning "horizon of the Aten" and now called "Amarna", is where Akhenaten build his new capital. And had he been alive in 1969, he probably would have liked TOS by George Harrison.
