Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

a look at christian rock bands
shouldn't it be christ, you choose as savior ?
that's the message that we preach in song
and wouldn't it be nice to sing together ?
put your faith in can't go wrong

i was a my life is better
now, we can sing for christ and live forever

shouldn't it be christ ? all should wake up
don't you know that jesus died for you ?
amd maybe, you should get your act together
won't be long till life on earth is through

happy times in heaven, we'll be spending
while you are in for torture neverending
shouldn't it be christ ?

maybe sit and read the bible, you will find it true
baby, then, you'll learn about the miracles that he could do
then when you're buried
you still can be happy
shouldn't it be christ ?

you know it seems the more we sing about him
i think that i'll be cursed to live without him
so let's sing about him
shouldn't it be christ ?

A parody such as this definitely has its place. I hope it's very popular among the people who would enjoy its content most. God bless you; personally I gotta admire you for taking a stand.

Great song. I gave you a 1 in how funny because Jesus is a serious message- not to be laughed at. Others, 5's all the way

Alvin, good for you. If we're only here a short time (which of course we are), then the most important question we need to seek an answer to is - what then? An honest-with-yourself, objective reading of the Bible, particularly the claims of Jesus Christ, is essential to that quest. What's interesting to me is, you start reading it, and you find that it's "reading you". 5-5-5 (the "Funny 5" standing for "How Cool").

Good message! My 5's across the board don't reflect that I find Jesus funny, but the message profound. Good job!

I'd like to give this a 5-5-5! In fact, I'd like to go one better and give it a 6-6-6! Wait a minute...

Olvan, don't ever accompany me to a sporting event. That's where you'd REALLY see some fanaticism.
