Parody Song Title:

"I Got a Line for Food"

Parody Written by:

John A. Barry

The Lyrics

Gonna take you, baby,
Down by the riverbed.
Gonna get you something
Roll then fry post-bread.

’cause I, I got a line,
I got a line for food, babe.
I, I got a line,
I got a line for food, babe.

Gonna put a worm on, squirmy;
The fish will take it for grub.
Ichthyophagous chew—
Delish grub for you.
There’s a tug on the line;
I’ll reel—see what I find.

So I, I trawl the line,
I trawl the line for food, babe.
I, I trawl the line,
I trawl the line for food, babe.

And so, the filament gets closer;
There’s something that’s pulling strong.
I can tug it, tug it, tug it;
We got beer along.

So I, I haul the line,
I haul the line for food, babe.
I, I haul the line
I haul the line for food, babe.

All I got’s an old boot, babe!!

Hey, JB. Long time since I've looked around over here. Noticed you used one of my favorite OS songs from way back when. Good job. 5's across
