Parody Song Title:

"Fabled Mice"

Parody Written by:

Royce Miller

Fabled mice, fabled mice
From the storybook greet me
Farmer's wife, with a knife
Cut their tails off so neatly

Rodents of brown, how you run around
Run around so blindly

Fabled mice, fabled mice
Folks don't take to you kindly

Rodents of brown, how you squeak around
Squeak around forever

Fabled mice, fabled mice
Blind, and tailess, and clever

Good one, Royce. Could be a whole new parody genre - nursery rhymes put to popular music.

Kind of squeak, I mean sweet...
JD, do you mean like this one: http://www.amiright.com/parody/60s/thebeatles7.shtml ? (or even this one: http://www.amiright.com/parody/80s/georgiasatellites0.shtml)

I just looked at those two parodies, Philbo - very good work on both of them!

It's Edelweissday. Nice job on both.

Skillfully written, and it makes a perfect children's song. What's with all of these Edelweiss parodies all of a sudden?
Royce Miller - July 13, 2004 - Report this comment
Olvan-I don't really know who started them (Edelweiss parodies), but I think it was Spaff. His title, I'll not mention at this time-you can find it if you try. It was a clever piece of work, could have been raunchy but he did a good job of it. Anyway, thanks for your comment.
