The Lyrics

The original John Barry/Shirley Bassey theme from the 1964 Goldfinger movie is pretty apt as written but I could not help an attempt at a bit more ‘apropos-iness’ for the current occupant of the White House.
Go figure

He’s the man, the man who fears to touch
He fears to touch
He’s hard to figure
The few people he lets close to him
Are mostly kin

Speaking word salad he will bend your ear
With Russian dressing his words you should fear
For as we see those getting too near
It’s their indictment time

So you go figure
His tries to cut taxes and repeal healthcare
Are going nowhere

Knowing his job is one of duress
As he works on his golf game finesse
All citizens know when he talks policy
He knows not the facts

So you go figure
With his red party running our congress
It’s more the mess

He craves loyal-ty,
Only he.
Not you, he.
He loves only he -
Cannot see
The world’s more than he.

Go figure!
