Song Parodies -> Silly Man's Spiral

Original Song Title:

"Theme from Gilligan's Island"

Original Performer:

Sherwood Schwartz

Parody Song Title:

"Silly Man's Spiral"

Parody Written by:

Michael Pacholek

Don't know who sang the song, but series creator Schwartz wrote it.
Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale,
a tale of a brainless dip
that started when a tropic State
found 10,000 votes to clip.

That Bush was a mighty failing man
his daddy's friends so firm
his brother fixed the vote and he got
a full four-year term
a full four-year term.

He pushed some laws to help his friends
the economy was tossed
he dismissed Clinton's terror plans
the Twin Towers were lost
the Twin Towers were lost.

The ship of state has gone aground
the land in a downward spiral
with Silly Man (George W. Bush)
the Skipper too (Donald Rumsfeld)
the Millionaire and his Wife (Dick & Lynne Cheney)
the Movie Star (Charlton Heston)
the Professor (Condi Rice)
and Mary Ann (Coulter)
here in Silly Man's Spiral!
I always thought the two dumbest TV shows ever were "Gilligan's Island" and "The Brady Bunch." I only recently learned that Sheldon Schwartz created both shows. Now that I know, I'm not surprised in the slightest. Wonder if he had anything to do with "Married With Children?"
