Song Parodies -> Adolph's Vice
| Original Song Title: | "Edelweiss" |
| Original Performer: | Rodgers & Hammerstein |
| Parody Song Title: | "Adolph's Vice" |
| Parody Written by: | Rick Duncan |
I decided to pull a John Barry and write five quick parodies on the same song. Another weird experiment. I accidently submitted my "Unedited" version of this, I meant this one.
Adolph's vice, Adolph's vice
Thought his race was the master
Not one Jew, shared his view
Bound to end in disaster
Thought the Russians were eas'ly beat
Soon defeat he found there
Adolph's vice, Adolph's vice
German men on the ground there
What became of his "master race"?
Nazi flag was unfurled for
Adolph's vice, he not nice
Didn't need that big world war
Thought his race was the master
Not one Jew, shared his view
Bound to end in disaster
Thought the Russians were eas'ly beat
Soon defeat he found there
Adolph's vice, Adolph's vice
German men on the ground there
What became of his "master race"?
Nazi flag was unfurled for
Adolph's vice, he not nice
Didn't need that big world war

i like this one the best of the bunch
Good one. It meets the pacing of the original song well. Now look up "Judy in Disguise" - 1970's.
2eagle--I did look it up, but I don't get it. Mari mentioned it in another song about "One hit wonders"
Don't be schtoopid, be a schmahty, schtuff that Adolph in the potty. 5's
