Song Parodies -> Ate All Mice
| Original Song Title: | "Edelweiss" |
| Original Performer: | Rodgers & Hammerstein |
| Parody Song Title: | "Ate All Mice" |
| Parody Written by: | Rick Duncan |
I decided to pull a John Barry and write five quick parodies on the same song. Another weird experiment.
Ate all mice, ate all mice
It's my job as a farm cat
Since I'm black, cut no slack
"Dey come here where da harm at!"
They come squeaking into my den
And right then, they're all meat
Ate all mice, ate all mice
Stock goes crashing on Wall Street
Rodent death is all that I serve
They deserve their sad fate
Ate all mice, ate all mice
Job don't pay but the food's great
It's my job as a farm cat
Since I'm black, cut no slack
"Dey come here where da harm at!"
They come squeaking into my den
And right then, they're all meat
Ate all mice, ate all mice
Stock goes crashing on Wall Street
Rodent death is all that I serve
They deserve their sad fate
Ate all mice, ate all mice
Job don't pay but the food's great
No racial stereotyping intended. Just going for the rhyme.

I wouldn't worry about the stereotyping, Rick, but the comment certainly gave me a laugh. Very nice!
