Song Parodies -> Hide Well Thrice

Original Song Title:

"Edelweiss"

Original Performer:

Rodgers and Hammerstein

Parody Song Title:

"Hide Well Thrice"

Parody Written by:

Adagio

MIDIThis is a resubmission from yesterday....the name on the previous one had been put wrong. This OS has me caught in a web of some sorts. :D
Write it twice, hide well thrice
This tune's morphing to spook me.
Looking so... darned polite
It is waiting in deceit.

Trying to show other tunes I know.
Tunes I've known forever.

Fried me twice, that's not nice.
Lost my own songs forever.

(repeat melody)

It is weird evilness
Every morning it haunts me.
Looking so... darned polite.
Waiting there just to meet me.

Sweet sop of song maiming to and fro.
To and fro forever.

Write it twice, hide well thrice,
It just demands whenever.

Five her thrice
Five her thrice
Every word mystifies thee
Readers scream,
"What's this mean??"
Baffled literal-minds flee
A-dagio, may you croon and crow
Croon and crow, for-ever!
Five her thrice
Five her thrice
Mess with those minds for-ever!

I found a Tanya Donelly cover of this song. I can't say it is my favorite, but your parody scans well to it. Yeah, fives in thrice, ain't it nice? ;-)
