I've seen my first name misspelled everywhere for years--on mailing labels, government forms, friends' letters. Most usually, the mistake is some variant of "Ingabord" or worse yet, "Inga Bird"--and though an honest mistake is nothing to bite heads off over, I wish it didn't happen quite so often...
