Ice drops on toeses, you whimper for mittens,
Questions unsettled if you're men or women.
Penning their packages write not what sings,
They are just two of my favorite beings.

Shop for baloney in shopping carts brutal,
Mis-spells from "Michele", like pretsells and knoodles.
Si'mese they try a lampoon kind of thing,
They are just two of my favorite beings.

Does one wear dresses the other moustaches?
Prose makes us stay for their blows and their bashes.
Savor these winners who belt many things,
They are just two of my favorite beings.

"Peregrin Bites", stealing Sears® things,
"The Heart of Ol' Baghdad "
I simply remember my favorite beings,
And then I will laugh quite mad.

Drains clogs in houses without any plumbing,
These two will meddle in things unbecoming.
Spirited slappages tried on all things,
They are just two of my favorite beings.

Teamed up two cronies, their crisp zappled noodles,
Jail cells with no Prell®, their schitzel's not brutal.
They grease on the fly with a tune full of quips,
I really like that ol' Merry and Pip.

Who wears the dresses and who wears the pantses,
Are these two lovers what would be the chances?
They bust into splinters the songs that we sing,
They are just two of my favorite beings.

These two am'rights, they can see things,
And they deal them bad.
Just simply remember the fun that they bring,
Their absence would make us sad.

Dedicated to the legendary team of Merry and Pippin on their 5 year anniversary on Amiright when they debuted on Mar, 5, 2003. May you two continue to write on and keep us amused. You are very much appreciated on this site and there would be a huge hole on the site if you two ever gave it up. Happy anniversary and may there be many, many more.

God Bless you both.

Readers, Please direct voting and comments to Merry and Pippin since this is their moment to shine. It is not my habit to write tribute parodies but in this case I believe that it is well deserved.

Thanks Guy! I wish Merry was online to see this. I shall have to alert my partner to this the old-fashioned way. Merry would be thrilled. Thank you for your kind words.

It is also the 5 year anniversary of Bob Gomez and Claude Prez, so glasses raised!

This author thanks you all for supporting one of the best things that have ever happened on this site. And Alvin, I've never met them in person and I am as jealous of you as you were of me when I mentioned that I saw in person The Three Stooges when I was a kid., but I have corresponded with Pip. And I do know who is who and I think by now most people do as they posted a pic on the message boards of themselves a while back when the two of them met for the first time But I respect their privacy. Happy fifth Bob and Claude wherever you two are.. Perhaps someone else can tribute you two at some point if you two ever write anything anymore - Haven't seen either of you two submit anything since Dec, 2007.

But as I stated I'm not a big fan of tribute parodies but Merry and Pip have always been really nice to me and to everyone on this site. They are just two super indiviuals whom I believe deserve some recognition. Well done amirighters and done to wellness MERRY & Pip. Merry will understand the "wellness". =;-) It was a huge pleasure for me to write this.
