The Lyrics

For a moment, I was gonna do the Evil Twin Bernard thing again, and look at Bush himself from both sides now. Not this time. I can't even pretend to like Bush right now. I just ate.
(instrumental opening)

Pie in sky, and laws so fair.
And cleaner water, land and air.
And Monica, why should we care?
I looked at Bill that way.

But now, we have old Poppy's son.
His reign job-snows on everyone.
So many things he could have done
but much he threw away.

I've looked at life from Bush Side now.
My hope is down and still somehow
it's Bush delusions, I'm appalled.
He really don't know squat at all.

Flash and cash, prosperity.
Good jobs, good wage for you and me.
It started nineteen ninety-three.
I looked at Bill that way.

But now, we've got another show.
To richest guys, the tax cuts go.
And if you're poor, he will not know.
You won't get giveaway.

I've looked at life from Bush Side now.
My bank account is stilled somehow.
It's Bush delusions, he's got gall.
He really don't know squat at all.

Tears and fears he had removed.
The left is right, this he had proved.
And when we cheered, he seemed so moved.
I looked at Bill that way.

But now, the White House seems so strange.
I shake my head, decry the change.
Look what we've lost, there's nothing gained
He don't care anyway.

I've looked at life from Bush Side now.
He only gives us crap of cow.
It's Bush delusions, why we fall.
He really don't know squat
at all.

(instrumental fadeout)

Wow! This was really an exceptional piece of work, Michael. Pace is perfect - I think this could be sung without hurting the tongue - you wouldn't have to make any adjustments and could do it right through with the syllables hitting the notes spot-on (provided one could actually hit them...lol). You've also constructed a very sharp story-line with a nice flow of continuity. Clever re-working of all the repetitve chorus sections. None of your story points are stretched here, they all ring 100% totally true. Oh, and I really liked the "crap of cow" line at the end. Both sides of me give you "5's" here ~ ~ ~

Did you see the docudrama last Sunday about the attack on the World Trade center with all the misinformation about how Clinton ignored the Al Qaida situation? Actually, When he took action he was accused of fighting a phony war to cover up for the big M.

Right on Mr. Pacholek. Very well written. You certainly got to the heart of the Bush-shit. Bring back the Bill of Rights.

I cheered for W for awhile after 9/11. Alas, "So many things he could have done/but much he threw away." Aye, there's the rub.

This was really easy to follow, and covered "both sides" of the extreme differences we have had to swallow in the last decade. I still remember the sincerity of Clinton's speeches *sigh*
