OK, I was having a bit of trouble trying to figure out a song to parody, until I ran a virus scan on my computer yesterday. The dang machine was taking too long, so I figured I'd do some stuff to keep me occupied. I was playing this song during the scanning process, and I decided to write a parody about doing virus scans, which also happens to be my first Jimi Hendrix parody. Enjoy!
Viruses are all around,
Lately things have been slowing down.
Actin’ stupid, I don’t know why, man.
‘Scuse me while I run a scan.
Viruses in my machine,
I’ve got some things that are most unclean.
I’ll scan my machine & weed ‘em out,
Wherever they are, I’m gonna find all those louts.
Help me!

[guitar solo, gibberish in the background]
Viruses, all in my drives,
I’m fed up with all their jive.
My PC’s scanning, cleaning up grime,
But come on, should it take so much of my time?

Can’t let ‘em go on long.
