Let's say life for a geek isn't that bad if you are girl and past high school, or if you are boy and over 25. Helsinki University of Technology was a good place to study - and to have a student life.

The three largest conventions, Finncon (science fiction), Assembly (hackers) and Ropecon (gaming) draw thousands of geeks each year. One of the best aspects of geeks is that they are seldom drunk or stoned; they are more into caffeine and other similar chemicals. Red Bull and other energy drinks are the fundamental geek beverages.
