The Lyrics

This is about Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman
Mrs. Brown you had a lovely daughter
And she had a lovely friend named Ron
But it's sad, they are both dead and gone
Killed by a savage beast who waited by her door

I know you will never cease to love her
I know that you never will forget
No one's ever paid, and no one ever will
They've made it clear enough, some folks get thrown away

Guess you could say, he got off with murder
He's likely out lounging at the beach today

Maybe someday there will be some justice (some justice)
The killer's out there well and feelin' fine (feelin' fine)
But he shouldn't be--he surely broke your heart
We can only hope what goes round comes around

Guess you could say, he got off with murder
He's likely out playing a round of golf somewhere

Maybe someday there will be some justice (some justice)
The killer's out there well and feelin' fine (feelin' fine)
But he shouldn't be--he surely broke your heart
We can only hope what goes round comes around

Mrs. Brown you had a lovely daughter (lovely daughter)
Mrs. Brown you had a lovely daughter (lovely daughter)
Mrs. Brown you had a lovely daughter......

Good job Royce - I see the last person marked it down on 'funny', I think that is harsh. Yes, it is not a funny subject but you handled it with good taste. I always interpret that category as funny or 'informed', so as not to kill the marking.

Peregrin, thanks. The funny category is a tough one--I really think there needs to be another category, because there are many parodies submitted that are not intended to be funny.

I thought the idea was totally right on the mark. I agreed with what the authors said entirely. However, I dont really think it is funny. That is not by any means an insult to the authors. This subject is very sad. Sure agreed about OJ playing golf somewhere while Nicole Browns loved ones suffer. You should take a poll on how many agree with the idea of this poem. Im sure youd have many in agreement. Oh yes . Submit this to Nicole Brown. Im sure she would appreciate this parody.

Virginia, thank you for your comment. I agree that this is not a funny parody and don't expect anyone to vote funny when they don't find it funny; this site contains many unfunny parodies, and I noticed that right from the start when I first found this website; in fact, I found the parodies to be much more message oriented than anything else, and it's been more recently, with the help of people like Merry & Pippin, that light-hearted parodies have become more prevalent. I think it's nice to have a mixture of message parodies and funny ones, cause life is like that.
